Volunteering for the Festival

The Pomona King of the Mountain Festival now in its 30th year is a community based festival held in Pomona, Noosa Hinterland the 4th Sunday in July each year. This Festival is run by the Cooroy –Pomona Lions Club to raise funds and to provide opportunities for smaller clubs and organisations with in the Noosa Hinterland to raise much needed funds for their clubs. To organise and run such an event takes a lot of time and money. The Committee give their time freely to make this event happen and to support the local community. Any funds raised by the Cooroy – Pomona Lions Club go directly back to the local committee through donations and gifts. We are always in need of volunteers to make this festival happen. If you think you have a few hours spare on this day each year we, the committee, would really appreciate your service. We hold a volunteer BBQ after the event has finished each year to say thank you. It’s a great way to meet new people in your local area. If you would like to find out more about volunteering please contact Volunteer Co-ordinator or phone 54850419
