The day starts early with the setting up of the craft market, getting side show ally in place and finalising the various exhibitions, workshops and other attractions. The first organised event for the day is the ‘Poet’s Breakfast’. Here you get a first class breakfast and be entertained by some of Australia’s best bush poet’s. The Poet’s breakfast gets underway at 7:30am and continues until 9.30am. This event is by ticket only. The craft market and side show ally are available from 7.00am. Dependant on the sponsor we broadcast live radio from early morning until late afternoon. A variety of food and drinks are available all day with the bar opening at 10.00am. Walk around entertainers, bands, clowns, jugglers, etc. are on hand from around 9.00am and operate throughout the day. Entertainment on main stage starts at 10.00am as does the entertainment in the food court area.
There are many other activities which change from year to year. These can include Belly dancers, Tai Kwan Do exhibitions, Art workshops, Quilt exhibition, Percussion workshops, Motorcycle stunt riders, BMX bike stunt riders, Snake exhibition, and much more.
Whilst all this is taking place on the park the more athletic can enjoy the 3km or 10Km fun run, school relays and at 3.00pm sharp the famous Mountain Challenge. |
